The scientific ability and level of interest can vary hugely from
pupil to pupil. At Farleigh College we offer a flexible curriculum that allows for the individual. Some gifted and talented pupils have taken Double Science GCSEs, giving them the option of studying
for A Levels in further education. Others reach their potential by achieving a single GCSE pass.

Farleigh offers 1:1 extra tuition where appropriate and tries to overcome the pre-conceptions and negative experiences that many of our pupils have had during their mainstream schooling.

Pupils are entered for SATs at the end of Key Stage Three if it is thought to be of benefit.
